Landon has reported and begun training at the US National Team camp after scoring 2 goals in Saturday’s thrilling 2-2 tie against the Revolution in New England. The two goals give him an MLS best 16 for the season.
After the match Landon flew with new Galaxy teammate Eddie Lewis to Miami where the national team is preparing to visit Cuba in a World Cup Qualifying match on Sept 6th.
Monday’s training session had only 8 players, but the rest of Bob Bradley’s 20 man roster should be arriving in the next 2 days from their respective clubs. Saturday’s kickoff is set for 7 P.M. CT. and can be seen on ESPN 2.
